Caesars, Internet Gaming Deal Approved
(Las Vegas, NV) — The Nevada Gaming Commission has given the green light to a deal between Caesars Entertainment and an Internet gaming firm based in Israel. It allows for the Caesars relationship with subsidiaries of 888 Holdings PLC, which offers online gaming in portions of Europe. Caesars already owns the rights to Las Vegas’ annual “World Series of Poker” tournament.
The gaming giant has not provided details of its relationship with 888 Holdings, but the online gambling firm could help Caesars if Internet poker is legalized in the U.S.
