A major retail chain with more than 270 stores across the United States, Canada and Australia is set to bring a brand new location to the Las Vegas Valley. Along with the new store, set to open June 2, the company will embark on a job hiring process, helping put a small dent in our big unemployment problem.
According to the Review-Journal, Savers Inc., a Bellevue, Wash., thrift store chain, today said it will open a sixth valley location that will create 50 jobs.
To fill the positions, Savers will host a hiring fair outside the new store at 8530 W. Lake Mead Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 29, 30 and March 31.
More information about the open positions can be found on Savers’ website.
Savers said that besides offering bargain-priced secondhand merchandise to consumers, the new Las Vegas store will support the community through a partnership with Safe Nest, a Southern Nevada nonprofit shelter and crisis resource center for abused women and children.
