LAS VEGAS (AP) — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is returning to Las Vegas to test the waters of his all-but-announced second White House bid.
Romney is expected to rub elbows with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Republican mega-donor Sheldon Adelson at the national Republican Jewish Coalition’s winter leadership meeting next month in Las Vegas.
Executive director Matt Brooks says Romney is scheduled to address the group on April 2.
GOP leaders at the meeting will also discuss the 2012 election and foreign policy.
The event will be held at the Venetian hotel and casino. Adelson sits on the board of the Jewish coalition and is the billionaire CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corp., which owns the Venetian.
Romney won Nevada’s GOP caucus in 2008 and campaigned for GOP candidates here in 2010.
