(Carson City, NV)  —  One lawmaker has a new strategy to repeal Nevada’s motorcycle helmet law.  State Senator Don Gustavson now argues the economy will improve if the helmet requirement is gone, with higher motorcycle sales and larger attendance at Laughlin’s annual River Run.

Critics say Nevada’s motorcycle death rate will go up if the helmet law is repealed.  The Legislature has failed to repeal the mandatory helmet law during the past five sessions.
