LAS VEGAS – Adopt a Rescue Pet must raise $70,000 in 45 days or pets face uncertain future, and even an end to their decade-old mission.

Adopt a Rescue Pet is one of Nevada’s largest animal rescue organizations, sterilizing and re-homing pets in the valley for over ten years. According to 8newsnow.com, ARP is now facing a crisis of its own.

In 45 days the organization must raise $70,000 to pay off the balloon payment for the five-acre dog sanctuary in Amargosa Valley. Private funding was to have provided the money back in January, but when the foundation suddenly went defunct, the non-profit found itself suddenly seeking $70,000.

ARP founder Elizabeth Rubin fears the group will not be able to keep its doors open, and at the very least, 300 pets would immediately be without a home. Sadly, they would most likely have to be euthanized.

The animal rescue group announced the 700-Strong Club. It would be a group of 700 people who commit to donate a minimum of $100 to ARP in the next 30 days. Donations of any amount can be made via the ARP website, or deposited directly into Adopt A Rescue Pet’s bank account at Nevada State Bank / Adopt A Rescue Pet Sanctuary Account #102013604.

Donations can also be mailed the administrative office at: Adopt A Rescue Pet 1500 E. Tropicana, Ste 105, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119
