(Carson City, NV)  —  Nevadans are not in danger from Japan’s damaged nuclear reactors.  State Health Division radiation expert Eric Matus says any material from Japan must travel thousands of miles across the Pacific Ocean, and would be dispersed into the atmosphere, posing no health risk.  Matus also says it’s not necessary to take potassium iodide or any other anti-radiation drugs.
