A bill that would ban the use of air fresheners in public locations has been introduced.  Assembly Bill 234 would prohibit the use of candles and “air additives” such as spray fresheners or potpourri in “any place of public accommodation” such as hotel rooms and restaurants.  It would also regulate the use of pesticides in public places.  No action has been taken on the bill by the Assembly Commerce and Labor Committee.

This would be great, can anyone tell me what hotels/casinos in vegas do not use the air freshener/potpori scent sprays throughout their casinos, and which ones do, and are overpowering. I am going out there in May, and am very allergic to these perfume scents. Planning on staying at the Monte Carlo, but have read some reviews about the powerful floral/perfume scent throughout the casino.
