GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals stood outside Mike Tyson’s Las Vegas home yesterday over the former boxer’s new reality show about pigeon racing.

The “Review-Journal” says about 20 people stood outside Tyson’s gated neighborhood in protest.  “Taking On Tyson,” which premiered Sunday night on Animal Planet, pits the athlete against other pigeon racers.  PETA official Lisa Lange claims many of the racing pigeons succumb to exhaustion or are attacked by other birds.  But a supporter says Tyson’s show will improve the image of pigeons.
