Nevada’s congressional delegation voted yesterday to avoid a federal government shutdown.  The bill will extend funding for the next two weeks, and includes about four billion dollars in spending cuts.  The measure passed the House 335-to-91, giving all sides until March 18th to work on spending cuts for the rest of the current fiscal year.

Majority Leader Harry Reid says the full Senate could vote on the bill as early as today.
