The 27-hundred rooms at Wynn Las Vegas are getting an extreme makeover. The “Las Vegas Sun” says the resort is spending 99-million dollars on the renovation after opening its doors nearly six years ago. Dark colors are being replaced with more neutral tones and some of the existing furnishings have been refurbished, complete with reprints of famous paintings. Guests will be able to control various room functions with one remote that can be programmed in 20 languages. The Wynn renovation is expected to wrap up later this year.
