College Campus May Close Due To Budget Cuts
College of Southern Nevada president Michael Richards warns one of the valley’s three campuses may close due to budget
cuts. Governor Brian Sandoval’s proposed budget would cut CSN funding by 26-million dollars. Richards also tells the “Review-Journal” the college may have to turn away about 13-thousand students who want to get in. Last week, UNLV’s president warned it could declare bankruptcy if lawmakers approve the cuts.
