Not Guilty Plea From Slaying Suspect

LAS VEGAS(AP) — A 32-year-old ex-boyfriend pleaded not guilty in the slaying and dismemberment of a Las Vegas Strip burlesque dancer who disappeared in December.

Jason Griffith’s public defender, Jeff Banks, said Wednesday that trial was set Nov. 28 in Clark County District Court.

Griffith faces murder and other charges in the slaying of 31-year-old Debora Flores Narvaez.

He was a performer in Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles show, “Love,” at The Mirage resort-casino. He’s now held without bail at the Clark County jail.

She was a performer in the “Fantasy” show at the Luxor resort. The Clark County coroner ruled she was asphyxiated.

Police say Griffith’s roommate, Louis Colombo, told them Griffith killed Flores Narvaez and both men tried to dispose of the body by dismembering and encasing it in tubs of concrete.
