GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

The man accused of stealing one-point-five million dollars in chips from the Bellagio was in Las Vegas Justice Court this morning. He  acknowledged the charges against him and a preliminary court date was set.  Metro Police say 29-year-old Anthony Carleo was arrested last Wednesday night at the Strip resort, after he allegedly tried to sell some of the chips to undercover officers.  Carleo is also a suspect in the December 8th casino cage robbery at the Suncoast hotel, but has not yet been charged in that case.  Police say they have recovered about one-point-two million dollars in chips from the December 14th robbery.  Carleo, the son of Municipal Court Judge George Assad, remains held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center.
