Plea Hearing Set For Bellagio Bandit
Anthony Carleo’s first court appearance was an uneventful one, as the alleged Bellago robber was not asked to enter a plea. Carleo reportedly met his attorney for the first time while in the courtroom, and only spoke to the judge in response to whether or not he understood the charges against him. The twenty-nine-year-old was given a hearing date for the 23rd of February. He’s facing several charges, including armed robbery, assault and burglary. Casino security video allegedly shows Carleo wearing a motorcycle helmet and waving a gun before running for the exits with one-point-nine-million-dollars worth of chips. Police say they have recovered about 1.2m of the stolen chips.
