Superintendent Vows Probe Into Internet Incident

Clark County School Superintendent Dwight Jones has vowed to investigate how the school district handled allegations of lewd behavior by one of its employees. Jones says the district will take what he called “full responsibility” for the actions of its employees. The statement comes in the wake of a “Review-Journal” report that district accounting coordinator Darren Boyett remained on the job one year after Utah’s Iron County Sheriff’s office submitted a case against him to local school police. Authorities claim the 45-year-old Boyett used a school computer to engage in lewd chat room exchanges and sending images of himself. Iron County investigators discovered the alleged behavior during a sting operation to catch child sex predators
