Hundreds of Students Apply to Change Schools
Around 1,200 Clark County students got a chance to choose the school they want to attend next year.
Last Fall, the school district notified parents and students that they could pick any school in the district, providing it had room for them. They received 1,200 applications from all over Clark County.
Liberty High School received the most applications out of the 104 schools that had space to take more students. There were 453 high school students that applied to change schools.
Parents and students will receive their acceptance letters by mail in February. The school district will be accepting open enrollment applications again in the Fall.
