The “Review-Journal” says just after the playoffs Sunday night, sports book operators made Green Bay two-and-a-half point favorites over the Pittsburgh Steelers for the February 6th game. Bettors in Nevada wagered nearly 83-million dollars last year, when New Orleans defeated Indianapolis. The record was set in 2006, when Pittsburgh defeated Seattle and more than 94-million dollars was wagered in the state’s sports books.
