A man who helped launch Microsoft has refiled a lawsuit over patents against Apple, Google, Facebook and other companies.
Paul Allen claims they’re illegally using technology owned by his company, Interval Licensing LLC. The firm won more than 300 patents and provided research assistance to Google. In his lawsuit, Allen claims the companies named as defendants have infringed on four of his patents. The first lawsuit Allen filed over the matter was dismissed earlier this year because it failed to specify actual products that allegedly violate his patents.
