Bing Turning To Facebook
It’s a new thing for Bing.
The Microsoft-run search engine is turning to Facebook and other Internet allies in an effort to gain ground on the worldwide search leader, Google. Bing will now start featuring more recommendations and other information from social networking sites to help distinguish its results from Google’s. Bing is also trying to become a portal to buy tickets to sports events or concerts or score restaurant reservations — by posting that information on the results page.
