President Obama hosts another meeting with corporate CEOs today, something he has done periodically over the past couple of years.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs called it part of an ongoing evaluation of where the national economy is heading. Gibbs said President Obama seeks input from a wide variety of sources on how to boost the sluggish economy. Yesterday, Obama hosted a White House meeting with billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Buffett and Gates have launched a campaign to inspire the nation’s richest people to leave large chunks of their wealth to charity when they die.
