The Las Vegas holiday season is set to kick off with an evening of award-winning magic and music that will help wishes come true for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

A Make-a-Wish Magic and Music Spectacular starring magician Rick Thomas and guitarist Esteban will take place Tuesday, November 30th at 7pm in the Sahara Hotel Showroom. All proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.To learn more, KXNT Morning News spoke to Kendall Tenner, the Immediate Past Chair for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.

Rick Thomas has been entertaining Las Vegas audiences with his mind-blowing magic for more than 13 years and currently stars nightly at the Sahara where he shares the stage with his beautiful cast of exotic animals. Thomas has toured the world with his illusions covering more than 50 countries. Along the way, he has won countless awards including the prestigious “Magician of the Year” presented by the Academy of Magical Arts.

World-renowned instrumental guitarist Esteban has eight #1 Billboard albums as his Spanish-Style music has charted on Billboard more than any other instrumental player in history. Esteban plays to standing ovations all over the world with his unique and captivating performances that range from “Bach to Rock”. In addition, more than 10 million of his instructional DVD Guitar Methods have been distributed to guitar students around the globe.

Esteban’s latest album, “Wear the Black”, launches worldwide on December 1st. The stirring tribute to the music of Johnny Cash is already drawing a great deal of attention and praise on iTunes .

Rick and Esteban both have a passion for helping kids and came up with the idea of combining their talents for a spectacular event to help Make-a-Wish, an organization dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children dealing with life-threatening conditions.

The show will mix sensational illusions with mesmerizing music and create a show unlike any other.
