Retailers made big bucks over the Black Friday weekend.
The National Retail Federation is reporting that the average Black Friday weekend shopper spent 365-dollars this year. Last year, the average was 343-dollars per shopper. About 212-million shoppers hit the stores between Thanksgiving and Sunday. That’s an increase of more than eight-and-a-half percent from 2009.
Nearly 30 leading retailers are expected to report November sales today. JP Morgan analyst Charles Grom believes most retailers will beat Wall Street estimates by a wide margin.
