3D Glasses Go Designer
With the recent proliferation of 3-D movies — eyewear manufacturers and fashion houses are looking to create special glasses that don’t look quite as nerdy as those usually worn to see stereoscopic films.
The “Los Angeles Times” reports companies such as Oakley, Calvin Klein and Gucci will soon introduce designer 3-D glasses that’ll range from 95-to-225-dollars. Movie-goers have long complained about the old-fashioned 3-D glasses — saying they’re uncomfortable and tend to cause eye strain. Hollywood plans to release over 30 3-D films next year.
