Penn State head coach Joe Paterno says he will return for a 46th season in 2011. At a press conference this week, Paterno, who will be 84 on December 1st, told reporters he fully intends to come back “unless you know something I don’t.” “JoePa” added that he’s “looking forward” to another year on the sidelines in 2011. Paterno is the winningest coach in Division One history with a 401-133-3 career mark, and has won two national championships (1982 and ’86.) The Nittany Lions are 7-4 overall in 2010 and 4-3 in Big Ten play. Paterno said this year’s team has had a somewhat disappointing season, but he thinks they could be a lot better next year.
