Metro Police say an 18-month-old boy died Sunday afternoon, after a kitchen range came down on him.
It happened just before 3:00 PM at an apartment in the 47-hundred block of East Charleston near Nellis Boulevards. Police say the boy was left alone briefly when the range fell on him. He was taken to University Medical Center, but later died. Metro’s Abuse and Neglect Detail and the county’s Department of Family Services continue to investigate what happened.
