The Supreme Court is scheduled today to hear argument on a case involving a baby born in Mexico in 1974 who was brought to America at two months of age.
The boy’s mother was a Mexican citizen, while his father was a U.S. citizen. Had the baby been born in the U.S., he would be entitled to so-called birthright citizenship. The child in question is not considered a legal citizen of the U.S. has been deported several times.
