If you think you might have a sexually transmitted disease, there may soon be a cell phone app to help you find out.
According to the “Guardian,” British health officials are working on a new app that will allow users to urinate into their cell phones and find out within minutes if they have an STD. The app allows users to put urine or saliva on to a computer chip, plug it into their phone or computer and receive a diagnosis within minutes. The developers say the techno approach is aimed at young Brits, who may be too embarrassed to visit the doctor. Britain has been experiencing rising rates of STDs among young people.
