There are signs that when many of us watch TV, we aren’t watching on traditional TV delivery systems.
The latest numbers from the major cable TV companies are showing major losses — a loss of subscribers at an even faster rate than in the last few months. What’s more, those customers don’t appear to be defecting to satellite TV. So what’s happening? It could be a sign that Internet TV services like Netflix and Hulu are starting to move people to ditch their cable boxes. It’s also possible that the weak economy and housing market means fewer people have the money to take on a monthly cable bill.
