Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has reportedly admitted to contacting a female New York Jets employee when he was with the team back in 2008. Fox Sports reports Favre said he did leave voice messages for Jets in-house reporter Jenn Sterger, but he denied sending lewd photographs to her, as has been alleged. Favre is under investigation for possibly violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy by making inappropriate advances to Sterger at a time when both were employed by the Jets. Favre met with NFL officials last week to discuss the matter, but has not commented publicly. The “New York Post” reports Sterger has yet to decide if she will meet with the NFL to discuss the accusations. The 41-year-old Favre, who has been married since 1996, played only one season for the Jets. Last week, his wife Deanna Favre told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that she is using her faith to handle the current situation.
