Colts Punter Arrested for Drunken Swim
Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was arrested early this morning on charges of public drunkenness. McAfee was reportedly found swimming shirtless in a canal in Broad Ripple, Indiana around 5 a.m. Police discovered him after a woman called 911 to report McAfee was walking around without a shirt and standing next to her car, frightening her. In a breathalyzer administered at the scene, McAfee measured a blood alcohol level of .15, nearly twice the legal limit. According to the police report, when asked how much he had been drinking McAfee responded, “a lot ’cause I am drunk.” Colts President Bill Polian released a statement saying the team will “deal immediately with the issue of club discipline” once the police investigation is complete.
