Sarah Palin fired up a group of conservatives during her visit to Reno.
Speaking to more than a thousand people Monday outside the Washoe County Republican Party headquarters, the former GOP vice presidential candidate urged voters to “fire” Harry Reid and other “liberal” candidates in November, while blasting the news media for their coverage of the Tea Party movement. Palin appeared as part of a Tea Party Express bus rally, but she won’t be joining the event when it makes its way to Ely and Las Vegas later today. The bus tour is designed to whip up enthusiasm for conservative candidates across the nation before the general election. It will make its final stop in Concord, New Hampshire on November 1st.
