McNabb Back in Philly

mcnabb385 McNabb Back in Philly

Longtime Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb returns to the City of Brotherly Love this weekend as a member of the rival Washington Redskins. The teams square off in an NFC East matchup Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field. It’s McNabb’s first return to Philly since the offseason trade that sent him to Washington. As to what reaction he expects to get from the often unforgiving Philly fans, McNabb said “hopefully cheers.” He called his time in Philadelphia “11 great years,” adding, “you wouldn’t expect me to say I’m gonna get booed, would you?” During his tenure, McNabb led Philadelphia to four straight division titles, five NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl. He’s the Eagles’ all-time leader in a number of passing categories, including completions, yards and TDs.

I really think the Eagles and the Redskins will be a very good game. At least one thing, Mcnabb was the mentor of Michael Vick. Michael Vick has learned a whole lot from him. I honestly think the score will be 30 to 27 favoring the Eagles. It also looks like the baseball season will go down the wire in the AL East.
