Plenty of injuries affecting lineups around the NFL in Week 2…Shaun Hill will start in place of injured Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford on Sunday against the Eagles. Stafford suffered a shoulder injury against the Bears last week, but Lions head coach Jim Schwartz won’t say how long Stafford will be out. As for the Eagles, it appears Michael Vick is likely to get the start on Sunday, after QB Kevin Kolb failed a post-concussion test. Kolb has still not been cleared to practice. Eagles linebacker Stewart Bradley also failed his post-concussion test and remains sidelined. Elsewhere, the Colts announced safety Bob Sanders had surgery to repair a torn right biceps, but the team will not place the 2007 NFL Defensive Player of the Year on Injured Reserve in hopes he can return sometime this season. New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss will miss Sunday’s game against Indianapolis because of a concussion he sustained in the opener against Carolina. Meanwhile, Panthers quarterback Matt Moore returned to practice Wednesday after leaving Sunday’s season opener with a concussion, and could be ready to play this Sunday against Tampa Bay.
