The Celtics signed the 38-year-old center to a two-year contract worth the league veteran minimum of $1.4 million per season. O’Neal is a 15-time All-Star and was the NBA MVP in 2000. He won three championships during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, and picked up another ring during his stint with the Miami Heat.
