Supporters of Same-sex marriage use hateful language
Mark Ruffalo is the latest celebrity to express his passion amid the ongoing fight for gay marriage rights.
“It’s the last dying, kicking, screaming, caged animal response to a world that is changing, a world that’s leaving a lot of those old, bigoted, un-accepting views behind. It’s over,” he said. “Those against it are very tricky and they’re using really dark ways to promote their ideas.”
In fact, the majority of Americans support the right of gays to serve in the military and the same majority of Americans reject changing the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples. The hateful language used by proponents of so-called same-sex marriage only adds to the anger and dissension that divides Americans and serves no purpose to carrying on a meaningful dialogue. These same proponents of same-sex marriage would flout the constitution by denying the majority of Americans the right to re-affirm the historic definition of marriage as an institution between a man and a woman. It is not only the law of religions, but the law of every civilized society from the beginning of mankind. Mark Ruffalo’s comments only add fuel the fire and exacerbates hateful feelings of those on the left towards traditional conservative Americans. What do you think?
