The LeBron James sweepstakes is underway, and the basketball superstar is making the rounds. On his first day as a free agent, LeBron met in Cleveland with representatives from the New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks on Thursday. The Nets spoke with him first as a contingent of six, including owner Mikhail Prokhorov and head coach Avery Johnson, who made an hour-and-a-half presentation to James, according to the New York Post. The Knicks were next, spending about two hours with “King James.” Five Knicks executives, including owner James Dolan and general manager Donnie Walsh, described James as “non-committal” at the meeting. James could make a final decision by Monday. He is scheduled to meet this weekend with the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, and his current team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
