sisolak1 Commissioner Questions Raises

The Southern Nevada Health District’s board last week approved raises for most of its 526 employees.  The chief health officer received a $30,000 jump in pay.  Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak appeared on The Alan Stock Afternoon News Show to discuss  the issue.

Sisolak questioned why SNHD was raising fees for services when “they apparently have enough money to give out these big raises.”  He found out the answer involved union contracts.
